I love adventure. Exploring beautiful places. Finding new frontiers to pioneer. Interacting with God’s creation through backpacking, kayaking, fishing, and travel (especially with my family) is what makes me feel the most alive.

The most amazing places are usually the hardest to get to. To experience the highest peaks or the purest waterfalls you have to paddle and trek further out into the wild than many are willing or able to go.

​If you are like me, you are busy! I don't always have the capacity to be out in the wild. Painting and writing have become a way for me to bring myself and my audience into the places we all long to be in. To offer the chance to enter the adventure from anywhere.

PAINTING:  I collect vintage maps, back them with a wood panel, and paint memories of adventures over the locations they take place in. I've found this to be the best way to capture experiences from the past, or dreams for the future in the places we all long to be.
